🚙 BR | MG-020 BR-262 Dirigindo Convento / Mosteiro Macaúbas ➜ Sabará MG Brazil | POV Driving V-00071D

No vídeo de hoje iremos dirigir entre o Mosteiro de Macaúbas (região da cidade histórica de Santa Luzia MG) até a cidade histórica de Sabará MG. 

Iremos fazer um percurso alternativo trafegando pela rodovia MG-020 passando pela cidade de Santa Luzia MG, e pelos bairros Venda Nova e Planalto em Belo Horizonte MG, alcançando o Anel Rodoviário (BR-262) sentido Sabará MG. 

O Mosteiro de Macaúbas está localizado na margem direita do Rio das Velhas, a 11 quilômetros do centro da cidade de Santa Luzia MG, na Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte MG. 

Em estilo colonial, é um monumento sóbrio e imponente, inserido numa planície em meio a palmeiras de macaúbas. 

A edificação é cercada por mureta baixa, em alvenaria, que também funciona como arrimo. 

O corpo principal do prédio, erguido na segunda metade do século XVIII, tem o partido em forma quadrangular, com pátio claustral interno, todo pavimentado em pedras, onde está um cruzeiro.

In today's video we will drive between the Macaúbas Monastery (region of the historic city of Santa Luzia MG) to the historic city of Sabará MG. 

We will take an alternative route on the MG-020 highway, passing through the city of Santa Luzia MG, and through the Venda Nova and Planalto neighborhoods in Belo Horizonte MG, reaching the Anel Rodoviário (Ring Road BR-262 highway) towards Sabará MG. 

The Macaúbas Monastery is located on the right bank of the Rio das Velhas River, 11 kilometers from the city center of Santa Luzia MG, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte MG.

In colonial style, it is a sober and imposing monument, set on a plain amidst macaúba palm trees. 

The building is surrounded by a low brick wall, which also acts as a retainer. 

The main body of the building, erected in the second half of the 18th century, has a square-shaped part, with an internal claustral patio, all paved in stones, where there is a cruise.
