Com uma extensão de 1,4 Km, a Avenida Fleming tem seu início na Rua Sena Madureira, e termina na Rua Estanislau Fernandes, interligando desta forma, o Bairro Ouro Preto à orla da Lagoa da Pampulha.

É uma das principais avenidas gastronômicas não somente do Bairro Ouro Preto mas como da região da Pampulha, onde os bares e restaurantes começaram a se instalar ao logo da avenida nos anos 2000.

No ano de 2013 a avenida passou por obras para a implantação de uma ciclovia que funciona em parte na pista e parte no canteiro central da avenida.

With a length of 1.4 km, Fleming Avenue starts at Sena Madureira Street, and ends at  Estanislau Fernandes Street, thus connecting the Ouro Preto neighborhood to the edge of Lagoa da Pampulha.

It is one of the main gastronomic avenues not only in the Ouro Preto District but also in the Pampulha region, where bars and restaurants started to set up along the avenue in the 2000s.

In 2013, the avenue underwent works for the implementation of a bicycle path that works partly on the track and partly on the central avenue construction site.

Por ser final de tarde em um dia de semana, ao chegarmos em Belo Horizonte MG enfrentamos um congestionamento no Anel Rodoviário na altura do Bairro Betânia.

 

Cachoeira do Campo MG é um distrito da cidade histórica de Ouro Preto MG, distante 18 Km da mesma.

 

Está localizada às margens da rodovia MG-356 (Rodovia dos Inconfidentes) e foi oficialmente criado em 8 de abril de 1836.

In today's video we will take the route between the cities of Cachoeira do Campo (Ouro Preto) MG and Belo Horizonte MG through the MG-356 highway and the Belo Horizonte ring road highway.

 

As it is late afternoon on a weekday, when we arrive in Belo Horizonte MG we face a congestion at the Ring Road at the Betânia neighborhood.

 

Cachoeira do Campo MG is a district of the historic city of Ouro Preto MG, 18 km away.

 

It is located on the banks of the MG-356 highway (Inconfidentes highway) and was officially created on April 8, 1836..

Lobo Leite é um simpático distrito da cidade de Congonhas MG com pouco mais de 2.100 habitantes.

Com um clima pitoresco do interior de Minas Gerais, no distrito de Lobo Leite podemos observar a Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Soledade e uma simpática estação ferroviária, como está registro no vídeo.

Com uma população estimada no ano de 2020 de aproximadamente 39.867 habitantes, a cidade de Ouro Branco está distante de Lobo Leite 15 Km.

Tombado pelo IEPHA (Instituto Estadual do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico), a Serra de Ouro Branco é considerada o marco inicial sul da Cadeia do Espinhaço.

Além das belezas naturais, Ouro Branco tem um encantador conjunto arquitetônico e paisagístico, como a Capela Nossa Senhora Mãe dos Homens (datada em meados de 1865) e a Igreja de Santo Antônio de Ouro Branco.

In today's video we will take the route between the cities of Lobo Leite MG and Ouro Branco MG through the MG-443 highway.

Lobo Leite is a nice district in the city of Congonhas MG with just over 2,100 inhabitants.

With a picturesque climate in the interior of Minas Gerais, in the district of Lobo Leite we can observe the Church of Nossa Senhora da Soledade and a nice train station, as recorded in the video.

With an estimated population in 2020 of approximately 39,867 inhabitants, the city of Ouro Branco is far from Lobo Leite 15 Km.

No vídeo de hoje iremos dirigir da cidade de Belo Horizonte MG até a cidade histórica de Congonhas MG, através da rodovia BR-040. 

Também conhecida como a “Cidade dos Profetas”, Congonhas teve origem em 1757 quando foi fundado o Santuário de Bom Jesus de Matosinhos, por Feliciano Mendes, de Guimarães, nascido em Portugal. 

Inicialmente era apenas uma modesta cruz e oratório. Até o ano de 1948, a cidade chamava-se Congonhas do Campo. 

Encontra-se na cidade de Congonhas MG, obras do escultor, entalhador e arquiteto da época do Brasil colonial, Antônio Francisco Lisboa, o Aleijadinho. 

Nascido em Ouro Preto MG no ano de 1730 ou, mais provavelmente no ano de 1738, pouco se sabe com certeza sobre sua biografia, que permanece até hoje envolta em lenda e controvérsia, tornando-se muito difícil o trabalho de pesquisa sobre o mesmo.

In today's video we will drive from the city of Belo Horizonte MG to the historic city of Congonhas MG, through the BR-040 highway. 

Also known as the “City of the Prophets”, Congonhas originated in 1757 when the Bom Jesus de Matosinhos Shrine was founded, by Feliciano Mendes, from Guimarães, born in Portugal. 

Initially it was just a modest cross and oratory. Until 1948, the city was called Congonhas do Campo. 

It is found in the city of Congonhas MG, works by the sculptor, carver and architect of the colonial Brazil, Antônio Francisco Lisboa, Aleijadinho. 

Born in Ouro Preto MG in the year 1730 or, more likely in the year 1738, little is known with certainty about his biography, which remains shrouded in legend and controversy, making research on the subject very difficult.

No vídeo de hoje iremos dirigir da cidade de Santa Rita de Ouro Preto MG até Lavras Novas MG (Distrito da cidade histórica de Ouro Preto MG) por intermédio da rodovia MG-129. 

Santa Rita de Ouro Preto Localizado à 30 km de Ouro Preto, o distrito de Santa Rita é conhecido como a Capital da Pedra-Sabão, por concentrar artesãos na arte de esculpir a pedra-sabão. 

Seus primeiros habitantes chegaram no início do século XVIII, com a bandeira de Martinho de Vasconcelos, à procura do ouro às margens do Ribeirão Falcão, mas encontraram em abundância a esteatita, conhecida como pedra-sabão. 

A origem do nome se deve à devoção à Santa Rita de Cássia, imagem trazida pelos bandeirantes tornando-se a santa de devoção da população da cidade. 

Passou a chamar de Santa Rita de Ouro Preto quando foi elevado a distrito.

Com população de pouco mais de 1500 habitantes, Lavras Novas (distrito de Ouro Preto MG), é um vilarejo que surgiu aproximadamente no ano de 1716, distante de 20 Km de Ouro Preto MG. 

Cercado de esplêndidas paisagens (principalmente de montanhas), é um lugar de muita cultura local, paz, natureza e aventura. 

Destacam-se no local, a cachoeira dos Namorados, cachoeira Três Pingos e represa do Custódio, dentre outras atrações.

In today's video we will drive from the city of Santa Rita de Ouro Preto MG to Lavras Novas MG (District of the historic city of Ouro Preto MG) through the MG-129 highway. 

Santa Rita de Ouro Preto Located 30 km from Ouro Preto, the district of Santa Rita is known as the Capital of Soapstone, for concentrating artisans in the art of sculpting soapstone. 

Its first inhabitants arrived at the beginning of the 18th century, with the flag of Martinho de Vasconcelos, looking for gold on the banks of Ribeirão Falcão, but they found soapstone in abundance, known as soapstone. 

The origin of the name is due to the devotion to Santa Rita de Cássia, an image brought by the bandeirantes becoming the saint of devotion for the population of the city. 

It started to be called Santa Rita de Ouro Preto when it was elevated to district.

With a population of just over 1500 inhabitants, Lavras Novas (Ouro Preto MG district), is a village that appeared approximately in the year 1716, 20 km away from Ouro Preto MG. 

Surrounded by splendid landscapes (mainly of mountains), it is a place of a lot of local culture, peace, nature and adventure. 

Of particular note are the waterfall dos Namorados, the waterfall Três Pingos and the dam of Custódio, among other attractions.

🚙 BR | BR-356 Chegando em Belo Horizonte ➜ Trânsito final de tarde no Anel Rodoviário | POV Driving V-00102D

No vídeo de hoje iremos dirigir na BR-356 chegando na cidade de Belo Horizonte, onde enfrentamos trânsito lento no Anel Rodoviário em um final de tarde. 

O Anel Rodoviário tem seu início na união das rodovias BR-262 e BR-381 próximo dos bairros Goiânia e Nazaré na região Nordeste. 

Termina no encontro das rodovias BR-040 com a BR-356 no bairro Olhos D’Água na região Leste. 

Com extensão aproximada de 27 km, foi construído com o objetivo de permitir que veículos atravessem a capital sem passarem pelo centro da cidade, foi construída na década de 50. 

Recebe um fluxo diário de 120 mil veículos e concentra grande parte dos acidentes registrados pela Polícia Militar Rodoviária, o que se aproxima de quase 4 acidentes por dia.

In today's video we will drive on BR-356 arriving in the city of Belo Horizonte, where we face slow traffic on the Ring Road in the late afternoon. 

The Ring Road starts at the junction of the BR-262 and BR-381 highways near the Goiânia and Nazaré neighborhoods in the Northeast region. 

It ends at the meeting of the BR-040 and BR-356 highways in the Olhos D’Água neighborhood in the Eastern region. 

With an approximate length of 27 km, it was built with the objective of allowing vehicles to cross the capital without going through the city center, it was built in the 50s. 

It receives a daily flow of 120 thousand vehicles and concentrates most of the accidents registered by the Military Highway Police, which is close to almost 4 accidents per day.

Na rota da Estrada Real e distante 19 Km da cidade histórica de Ouro Preto MG, Lavras Novas é um pequeno e charmoso distrito em meio a belas paisagens nas montanhas, que surgiu aproximadamente no ano de 1716.

Em Lavras Novas, o contato com a natureza é grande, onde podemos encontrar atrações como a Represa do Custódio, Mirante da Pedra, cachoeiras, Igreja Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres e atividades voltadas ao eco turismo.
